18 Jacob went in to his father and said, "Father."

And his father said, "Yes, my son. Who are you?"

19 Jacob said to him, "I am Esau, your first son. I have done what you told me. Now sit up and eat some meat of the animal I hunted for you. Then bless me."

20 But Isaac asked his son, "How did you find and kill the animal so quickly?"

Jacob answered, "Because the Lord your God helped me to find it."

21 Then Isaac said to Jacob, "Come near so I can touch you, my son. Then I will know if you are really my son Esau."

22 So Jacob came near to Isaac his father. Isaac touched him and said, "Your voice sounds like Jacob's voice, but your hands are hairy like the hands of Esau."23 Isaac did not know it was Jacob, because his hands were hairy like Esau's hands, so Isaac blessed him.24 Isaac asked, "Are you really my son Esau?"

Jacob answered, "Yes, I am."

25 Then Isaac said, "Bring me the food, and I will eat it and bless you." So Jacob gave him the food, and he ate. Jacob gave him wine, and he drank.26 Then Isaac said to him, "My son, come near and kiss me."27 So Jacob went to his father and kissed him. When Isaac smelled Esau's clothes, he blessed him and said,
"The smell of my son
is like the smell of the field
that the Lord has blessed.
28 May God give you plenty of rain
and good soil
so that you will have plenty of grain and new wine.
29 May nations serve you
and peoples bow down to you.
May you be master over your brothers,
and may your mother's sons bow down to you.
May everyone who curses you be cursed,
and may everyone who blesses you be blessed."

30 Isaac finished blessing Jacob. Then, just as Jacob left his father Isaac, Esau came in from hunting.31 He also prepared some tasty food and brought it to his father. He said, "Father, rise and eat the food that your son killed for you and then bless me."

32 Isaac asked, "Who are you?"

He answered, "I am your son—your firstborn son—Esau."

33 Then Isaac trembled greatly and said, "Then who was it that hunted the animals and brought me food before you came? I ate it, and I blessed him, and it is too late now to take back my blessing."

34 When Esau heard the words of his father, he let out a loud and bitter cry. He said to his father, "Bless me—me, too, my father!"

35 But Isaac said, "Your brother came and tricked me. He has taken your blessing."

And you believe that you can fool God to take something like this?

Don't get me wrong... I just read comments about these things and A LOT others...and I can't just accept that!! How do you??

#1- no one is asking you to accept anything, religion is a personal choice, your opinion has no influence on the choice of religion what-so-ever

#2 - Christians accept it the same way you accept your religion, with faith. We just prefer to treat other people, including women, like they are human beings as well and respect their personal choices instead of trying to force our own will upon them.

Being a Christian is easy, just say you're a Christian. Since what you actually do is completely irrelevant to the religion's principles and doctrines, you don't need to read any books or learn anything. As long as you can BS your way past any debate you're good to go.

[Shakir 50:38] And certainly We created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six periods and there touched Us not any fatigue.

[Pickthal 50:38] And verily We created the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in six Days, and naught of weariness touched Us.

[Shakir 50:16] And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein.
[Yusufali 50:16] It was We Who created man, and We know what dark suggestions his soul makes to him: for We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein.
[Pickthal 50:16] We verily created man and We know what his soul whispereth to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein.

I can say that I'm your mom's boyfriend...doesn't make it true unless I was actually her boyfriend. Saying something does not make it true. Living the life and having the relationship does.

If you really want to understand what the Bible is saying, sure I'll help you, but you honestly seem just to be a troll.

As for who is and who isn't a Christian, Jesus Christ said that it is the NARROW what that lead unto eternal life.

Many people will work for heaven, many will die for heaven, and many will give all they have for heaven, however, only thing that the Lord asks you to do is turn from your sin and turn to Christ, He'll take care of the rest.

Excellent. We worship the same God, the God of Abraham, so which text is correct? Is the Bible correct or the Quran? How do you know? Seems the only absolute answer would have to come directly from God.

Can you answer me this, are you supposed to kill idolaters?

Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
