Default A huge contrast

For the past 6 years we have had to endure liberals crying about every single thing from the administration to congress. Since congress was won over by the Democrats, you have not seen hardly a peep about anything they have done on this forum.

One thing you have heard is we conservatives point out how stupid all the investigations are and that they go no where. Yet for the most part we have just sat back quietly and watched the Democrats fail at playing congress.

This is what leads Democrats to receive the reputation they have so right fully deserved.

I think the war in Iraq kind of overshadows everything so unless something is really good or really bad it doesn't have much chance of staying in the headlines or peoples minds for too long. And for the past six years I think there has been more bickering and nitpicking from both sides more than anything else so that seal is kind of appropriate for both sides. Babies getting nothing done.

I think for the most part you are correct. Also the fact that the Democrat leadership right now is ineffective, means that nothing can really get done. Keep in mind, after a couple of big time pushes by the Democrats blew up in their faces, they really hid them selves.

Both sides will all way nitpick. How ever the nitpicking is heavy from the left side of the isle. Truth be told it has gone way past nitpicking and straight into crying and gnashing of teeth.

I think what matters less is that they nitpick, but that all they do is nitpick. I'll grant someone their petty bickering if they otherwise do something admirable with their time. The democrats have not.

Take for example "leakgate". A HUGE! nothing that resulted in a process crime that had NOTHING to do with the investigation. This nothing investigation was the obsession for the left for the last 4 years or how ever long it has been. They cried and gnashed teeth over this and at the end of the day Mrs. Wilson was defeated in court with her bogus claimed she was outed. LOL

The other big problem is that the Repubs still control the veto and with it Bush can and has blocked everything they have tried. Without the 2/3 majority to overthrow the veto they are pretty much powerless.

They can stall things and sit around and cry about things but I guess they feel that that is worse than doing nothing.

Checks and Balances exist for a reason.

The opposition will always nitpick more than those in power.

LOL!!!!!!!
I like what you had to say, and I couldn't agree more!

And there "is" one good point......since the Dem's took over they haven't done anything........as usual!!!!, and even those that voted them in are re-thinking their decision's now :-)

Don't get me wrong here though, I'm glad they haven't done what those that voted them back into office wanted them to do, because they are nothing but a bunch of cowards, and a total disgrace to our country.
