This is recent. With this videocard, anyway. It's happened with every single nvidia card I've ever owned (Why do I continue to torture myself?).
During gameplay, or just general desktop usage, the display will blank for ~1-2 seconds and then come back as if nothing happened. As far as in-game happenings, it only happens while playing World of Warcraft in Windowed or Full Screen mode. Any other time, it just does it while I'm at the desktop. I've tried rolling back to an older driver version, beta drivers, everything. This issue is completely random. It can happen 2-3 times in a 30 second period or only once every few hours. I hunted google for hours, but apparently I'm the only person with this issue. Any thoughts? This is driving me insane. ![]() |

Hmm sounds weird, ive never heard of this issue before! .... you say its happened with every nvidia card you have ever owned? .... does that mean in the past you have owned a ATI card and it never done it? in the same system?
If i was you i would be looking at other parts of my system! ..... check for any faults else where! ... i find it weird that it had done it with every nvidia card you have owned! .... has it always been the same system? just a different graphics card? When you uninstall older drivers do you run drivercleaner pro in safe mode?
