I guess I was too fast on the "yay" thing... I can't get them to work, they keep wanting AGPGART (/proc/driver/nvidia/status says this) even though I am explicitely telling them to use NVAGP. 4496 worked just fine... damn!

Does some1 have manage to install it with the new kernel 2.6, I've manage to install the 46.20 on the 2.6 but needed to do the "export IGNORE_CC_MISMATCH=1" trick.
Here's my conf: Kernel 2.6.0-1mdk Mandrake pre10.0 (cooker) KDE 3.2 Beta2 (cooker) XFree86-4.3.99.902-1mdk

nv-linux.h:51: #error This driver does not support 2.6.x or newer kernels!
With 2.6.0 being officially released you would think they would start supporting it

heh and with the current release frequency there probably won't be one supporting it for another 6 months or so

Nope didnot work at all, froze on testing screen, useless, I'll stick to the 4620 as they are damn good performance.
Last two offical releases dont work for me but the beta ones work perfect. 4620's 4496's and 5328's ![]() |

One thing the Floam has always wondered: Why do people refer to the nvidia driver as plural? "The 4620's are..." There is only one! What is with this madness!

No nvidia-settings and worse performance? Is this how we get punished for using unreleased drivers?
