Everything worth to get is arriving late to the market.
I would love to build a new rig around Q1, but i dunno if there will be new gfx cards, cpus & mobos around that time. Also, i was planning to go water cooling this time, but i did not find any true single slot GTX680 yet. They all use double bracket.

I would say ~ GTX670 SLI performance (together 14SMX) vs. full GK110 with 15SMX; add HyperQ and Dynamic Parallelism, 48ROPS, vram +300gb/s and its one deadly gpu.
imo this should have been that GTX680 and everything would be ok ![]() btw, AMD will release 8900 series ~ Dec. 2012, well apparently.

it looks as if the doom and gloom predictions of lack of competition are coming home to roost, at least WRT the CPU race (and not any applicable integrated graphics.) AMD is not pushing Intel forward so we are looking at ~<30% per clock advancement with Haswell, just as with Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge before it. the difference this time is we've by now gone through a complete tick/tock cycle, and the same rules still apply.
you can bet this has much to do with AMD virtually bowing out of the CPU dominance race |

I would like to have one if it will be around 50% faster then a GTX-680.But it looks like we want even see it untill next year .I will keep my GTX-670 SLI setup until it want run a game .Right now even the lower end cards are pretty fast .They are a lot of fast cards out by amd and nvidia .I think they only reason to upgrade would be for bragging rights unless you are going to run a triple monitor setup at high resolutions.
