what software did you use?

i have internal version, and the results are the best you can get with captured picture from analog sources (VHS)

I tried Nero9, Creative 2010, and the bundled Neo3 software. All gave me the same result.

Comeon no one in their right mind really wants to watch that stuff. Just download a Stalone film and tell your wife your kid must've written over the wedding tape.

That aside, the best option is to hook up AV outputs to a DVR card. I'm assuming that's how torrent people do it.

Though this is sacrosanct to a true nerd, here's a PCWorld guide: http://www.pcworld.com/article/11603..._recorder.html

To me downloading an MP3 of a song when you already have a copy of the CD is no different than ripping the CD yourself. I've done this a lot of times for some old CD's I've had that got scratched up because I loaned them to some asshole.

And I could be wrong here but I think the actors are paid on a commission basis, e.g. they get paid so much just to shoot the movie. Whatever money the studios make after that doesn't go to them. It's not like record labels who pay them royalties based on what sells.

"Serenity", I think they knew it would make the money on the DVD sales, Otherwise they wouldn't have made it.

Maybe its a rare example.
