Its not just these drivers. I noticed it a lot after coming back to NV after using a HD5870 for about 7 months.

I just noticed the lower IQ (I bought this GTS250 after I sold my HD4850, which I used for 4 months), but I didn't related it to AA. But I noticed something very ugly that didn't happen with my ATI cards: color banding

Like... hm... Portal, for example. In the end of any test chamber, in the elevator, if you go in and look to the door, after it closes, there's a reflex (something shiny). If you move right or left (A/D, not the mouse) you can see a clear color banding. This also happens when Windows starts. With ATI I never had such things. I switched to nidia again because I use Linux, and Linux + ATI = Pain.
