Meh. id Software has gone console so I look at them as just an average company nowadays. Certainly give them props for what they've done but too many other good companies have caught up and surpassed them. Not having huge hopes Rage will be anything great. id went downhill when they lost Romero.

4 players doesn't need a dedicated server right? i havn't played l4d or l4d2 since it doesn't really appeal to me.

Yeah, my friend and I play on peer2peer all the time with Left 4 Dead and it works fine. Still, Left 4 Dead has dedis, it just doesn't let you browse automatically, it matches you into games.
