Cuda doesn't present any standart api, it's working in only some of nvidia gpus and I'dont have experience in that environment.

Thumbs up Re: Particle Benchmark

It will have some command line options in few days with next version.

Planning command line options;
- start in benchmark mode
- benchmark repeat number(for more precision result)
- thread count(default 4)

You can share your options, i can try to add if possible.

Default Re: Particle Benchmark

the option are:

custom text
antialiasing on/off
*benchmark
particle density 1-9

and other like:

window resolution (for more cpu stress)
*thread count (more thread support, 8 or more)
score output (very usefull)
benchmark option: more or less particles (default is 2.000.000)
*benchmark loop number
x64 version

* = you are already working on it

ps. what is the render mode?

I just ran it again and got 2704...

A 4Ghz Q9550 is no slouch.

It also has 50% more cache than an i7.

Gonna do a 4Ghz run just to see how they compare.

EDIT: Got the exact same score(with HT turned off).
