That is all the COD series has been good for. Single player was ok at best.

Singleplayer is amazing and what most people buy the game for. Take your multiplayer fanboy hat off.

True comment about UT3.

Overall MW2 is a huge step backwards. For console gamers its the same as always nothing has changed...

Pretty much sums it up.

As for Single Player...the story has always been meh. Multiplayer is where the action is, and that is where the PC crown got analed. The single player is still the same. Short and sweet.

Most outrages is the part when they said PC version isnt finish. I mean come on, even if you had dedicated servers, 100 vs 100 player servers and endless mod support, how the hell can you not make the game in time for release? Its only less than a week!

To add on to the rants: Limited the MP to a maximum of 9 v 9 is just homosexual. Wheres the fun in that? Is that going to help in lag? Well it definitely will to a certain extent, but the fact that this game uses P2P for online already outweighs the benefits.

9v9 i can live with that. I mostly play on 10v10 s&d.
no lean...k...i can do it..
$10USD price increase...i can live with that
$90USD on Steam..can do it.

no dedicated servers...game over.

they really should have had both options in the game...and tbh..all they are saying atm is that console players are too dumb to even navigate a server browser...i mean seriously there reasoning behind all these changes...simply does not justify any of the changes they have made for the PC version.

I can only hope that on release date...this was all joke and IW was kidding about it...

one can hope..

To console players...ure getting the same **** with a different brown filter...
Dedicated servers have always been a staple for a FPS game on the PC..any game without it has failed miserably on the PC. Y have they failed? Because PC's are not restricted unlike the limitation on the console...so when you downsize everything for the PC just because console players can have it...its...its a joke.

To those who plan to get this on the PC for its multiplayer...good luck enjoying the game. Games are going to last anywhere between 5-7 mins/map.

I dunno about the rest of the pc gamers, but i am a big fan of hc/pop maps(official)/20 min rounds with 18 or 20 players.

Hey, I prefer single player games, but the COD series isn't one of them. It is really only good for multiplayer IMO. Didn't mean to upset you.

You didn't upset me, I am just saying the series is mostly played in singleplayer, and is not a pure multiplayer game like UT or TF2.

I can see where the rumor of the game being delayed came from. Not sure if this is a zero day patch or the game has not gone gold. I wonder if IW thinks all they have to do is run off 10-15 thousand PC copies and they should be all set.

Another thing to note, IW has always wanted their games to be played the way they wanted them. In original COD they had some choice words for a good friend of mine, Garretjax, the author of CODTV (which we where testing last night and it runs great!). They told him if he tried to put RUN back into the game they would make it very difficult to get "IW help" in the future.(he was working with the devs on PAM at the time) - this was a public statement on their old forums. They soon came around and the rest is history, but I would have thought they learned from that mistake.......

We're also looking to do a Bash podcast on Tuesday. Also Jock and Garretjax had a special guest on the show and it should be released on Friday, you will be pleasantly surprised by who it is (no it's not anyone from IW) and what they have to say

I don't even like COD much at all and I'm not much of a multi-player now days anyway, so no way. I've always been a UT guy and COD doesn't interest me much.

Am I the only one planning on getting this game for its single player campaign?
