Anyone else getting crashes during the loading sections?? My computer keeps freezing up to where I have to do a ctrl alt del to get out of the game. Running vista ultimate and the latest beta 163.75's at the moment.

Okay, I really don't know why, but I kept thinking that Orange Box had CS:S in it, too. I'm pretty sad it doesn't as I was REALLY looking forward to playing that on 360 with some friends. I think one of them said it was going ot have it and that's why I thought it. Ugh.

No crashes here, it's working flawlessly.

1600x1200, all details maxed including AA and AF.

Not a single hitch, I'm super impressed with how well this engine runs.

The physics in this game are off the wall, the updated engine is really nice.

Back to playing !!

EDIT : using the 163.69 drivers.. dunno if i'll try the new .75's yet..

Haven't touched Ep2 yet... played through portals and just got done doing all of the advanced levels... really fun game, very short but very fun... really can't wait to see what people can come up with.

Also... no matter how long I wait I CANNOT get the 30,000 foot drop achievement... I fall for forever and nothing ever happens .

With the latest recommended beta drivers in the game menu "Very High" texture setting reverts to "High" when loading a level or restarting the game. either the menu/ and or texture settings may be bugged.

Anyone else notice this?

Finished it just now, took me 5.7 hours. And that's the best 5.7 hours I've spent on a game in years. I just sat there with with a big grin most of the time.

Valve= You can always count on those guys to deliver.

Damn, they've polished up that old source engine! Amazing stuff.

Well, I think I'm gonna replay a couple of the chapters. Back later.
