I noticed a HUUUUUGGGGEE difference in playing counterstrike 1.5-6 on Windows 98se @ 100+ fps, then playing 1.6 on XP at capped 60, thanks alot windows I just got another bad memory of how that stupid 60 cap bs happened.

I think putting 60 fps cap on games is like Bill Gaytes saying "640kb of memory is all anyone would ever need." I believe that's going waayyyyy back.

Gee Bill, thanks for the intuitive thoughts on trying to control what you think should be capped and what shouldn't. Maybe Bill should of thought, "what would the customer want?"

yes I agree, that his point is not invalid, but all I meant to say was this, It all depends on a game, if the game is smooth and has no lags or slowdowsn, I dont mind even playing it at 30fps, it all depends on the game, with COD4 the gameplay was so smooth at 60fps average that I never could differentiate it from the minimum fps that got. Same with timeshift, the game was very smooth at the framerate I was getting. ofcourse better fps is always great, but as long as the gameplay is smooth without any slowdows or lags, fps averaging 50-60 is more than enough.

and also one more thing I am not much of a multiplayer, I just play the game for storyline, so playing online FPS could play a different role, but I wouldn't know. anyways the game was great and textures are probably one of the best I have seen, and physics is pretty good too.

Wow, the textures are damn nice like people stated in here. I haven't seen anything that good since Qarl's texture pack 3 for Oblivion.

i get around 30-70+ in TImeshift and i love the game looks so damn good and dosenīt demnad a monster PC to play it and if it getīs tuffer in the retail well i can deal with 8xQ AA 8AF still looks amazing. did i say it looks amazing, also reminds a bit of Gears Of War

No AF in game or in CP with the 163.74 in my system , the floor look like in the 360 . The game is more playable and a bit more interesting for my with the mouse and the keyboard

how do i see where there is AA on buildings there the line is jagged without AA and not With AA?
