Default 1080i with 100.14.19

I just bought Abit AN-M2HD NF630A GeForce 7050PV with plans to hook it up to my 1080i LCD. I have read a lot regarding the problems with 1080 interlacing. Has the new 100.14.19 driver done anything to fix this problem? Or are there other fixes that can be done to achieve 1080i?

If you're referring to the issue where 1080i content output at 1080i plays well for 10 to 15 seconds and then starts getting motion blur and tearing etc...which apparently has been broken since 8xxx drivers...as discussed in these:

...and numerous other places such as this:

...the answer is no. I still have to de-interlace content in order to make 1080i watchable on my RP CRT TV. It's the only major flaw I have in an otherwise great and rather expensive MythTV system.

I've been meaning to post here and ask if it's ever going to be addressed or at least acknowledged as being an issue.
