Default Someone has tested Geforce 8400GT (& chipset mobile intel965 express) on Fedora?

I'd like to buy a laptop (sony vaio fz21m) equipped with a Geforce 8400GT and the chipset mobile intel965 express.
I have specified the chipset because I experienced two years ago problems of the linux driver with my specific chipset (it was 6200TC with the ATI R400 chipset) that take a long time before being fixed.
Has someone already successfully tried this configuration? In particular with Fedora 6?
It is not important 3D for me at the beginning (I can wait nvidia bugfix) but it is very important a very stable X environment: no hung, no freeze, no strange behaviour of cursor in text box, no slowness, and so on.

P.S. intel T7250 processor is a 64bit processor.. isn't it? So in case I buy it, which driver should I use? "AMD64/EM64T" should be for AMD processor, "IA64" doesn't seem updated..
