can not add users to folder security from a domain

i use Win server 2003 R2 my question is i can add users to a group in the AD but i can not add the users straight to a folder security.. can someone help?

That's pretty odd, you may need to use the Domain\User, you certainly should be able to do this.

If it's an explorer bug you may be able to use CACLS.

evil you think its an explore bug? i can add any person from the local group but not from the main domain group.. i'm going crazy trying to figure it out

Is the server a member of the domain or a DC for the domain?

yes the server is a member of corpads.local domain
