Definitely. As crainger stated, they redid the voice-overs and timing, added textures to break up the monotony of the NPCs, tweaked combat, added 3 (?) campaigns, and included some of the hotfixes from the forums, and some other stuff I know I'm blanking out on.

This development company is top-notch. Love them.

Damn. I have to install the game again. Never had the time to get back into it after they released 1.4. And I never got past Old Vizima.

Wow, you guys are bad

Got the game, looking forward to it. I think the only game I have more time in is L4D.

Thanks for the feedback.

Check out some of the awesome mods they have for L4D now.

Dumdum bullets, incendiary rounds, fast reload, trechcoat (for avoiding Boomer bile), etc. A buddy of mine has it set up on his servers, and it's an absolte riot. Adds a whole depth to the game.

Now I have to figure out whether or not to install The Witcher. I'm getting low on disk space. I should have picked up the 1 TB HDD from newegg for 78 bucks. Damn.

Best Buy has Western Digital TB Black drives for $100 last time I was there... thinking of getting a second one myself.

NewEgg has them for super-cheap. I got a twitter update a while back (last week or so) when they had the Eggtreme Deals. They still have them for under 80 bucks which isn't bad at all.

I seriously need to invest in another drive for games. I picked up Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, BioShock in the bargain bin and Gears of War and The Witcher: EE I still yet to beat. I haven't even touched Lost Planet or Bioshock yet.

A bit off-topic, but...
I might hold off until I get a CPU upgrade at least. I think the Phenom II 940 BE will be a nice step up from my 9850. You think I should invest in that CPU or videocard? I'm currently using a 9600 GT SLi setup for now. Both CPU and videocard can be purchased for the same price practically. Decisions, decisions...

At this point maybe wait for DX11 cards though... of course, they will be expensive.
