Nice. Would be great if they stuck with the same tech, and just focus on tweaks and story.

There really isn't much concrete information in the article. Basically, Tomasz Bagiński (who is a well-known CG/animation artist in Poland, and who worked on cutscenses for the game) said in an interview that he would probably constribute to a sequel as well, and that there are plans to release it in 18 months. The official CDProjekt line is "no comment" ATM.

I am with you on that. I use the ard sign a lot. I love hitting a guy with it once and getting a disarm stun and knockdown all at the sametime. I prefer the stun over the KD because I like when Geralt eviscerates someone spins them around and then cuts their throat from ear to ear for good measure. Ard can really simplify a complex group situation when it stuns at the right time. Disarm is just funny to me. I had a guy run away after I disarmed him. Had to chase him down

Sometimes I like to lay down a Yrden sign and draw folks to me and over it. I do it quite a bit in dungeons and bases with large groups of creatures or tough ones.

Igni can occasionally hit hard and more often than not it doesn't really impress me. I have had it work well at times and usually it is much better to just drop an Ard and hope for a stun. It's great for lighting fires though or if a foe happens to be particularly fire vulnerable.

I am just learning the Axii sign well and haven't really formulated an opinion on it yet. I definitely plan on learning to use it well because I like the mental aspect of it.

People need to make sure they don't ignore potion making either. It can help immensely. Even if you are lazy at least do your vitality potions. If you like to cast start making those Tawny Owls early.

As far as Drowners go they are easy kills and yet some of the most annoying zerg mobs ever put in a game. I hate them because all they do is waste time. I like to run around and get as many of them on me as possible then group kill them.

I am definitely going to play the game again and go in the other direction with my alliances. I am very curious what will happen.

Big time game spoiler below for folks in the swamp. If you want a easy kill of a particular creature you must do to advance the story highlight below.

The golem, after you active him train him around. Click on two pylons and the third when you are out of the circle and he is lumbering across it towards you. He'll get stuck by lightning. Then use your Igni sign on him and run around, rinse repeat until he's dead. You won't be touched. Make sure you are NOT in the circle when you call down the lightning by clicking the third pylon on. BTW you can do them in any order. Just light two and a third when you are out and he is in the circle

Gotten to the point where I have these powered up attacks.
The powered up group attack have a chance to "incinerate", while Strong stance does more damage on incinerated targets, which is nice.
Difficult to get those powered attacks tho, unless you power them up before engaging..
I tried using the shield spell, but I seem to get "failed spell" if I try to power up a attack with the shield up..

Yes and no to that. They have to sort out the loading and saving times which are the only issues I have with the game. I score the game 8.7 and with that fixed it would be a 9.7

that "issue" its caused by the engine. Look at other Aurora based games.

Aurora is really stretched to run a game like this. No wonder why Bioware went with another engine for Mass Effect and Dragon Age.
