My game ran fine all the way through but then when I got to the last scene with the frozen boat it dropped to like 5 fps? Nicely optimized crytek....

WOW...

I just spent 2 hours fixing the new nvidia beta drivers so they could run at 1280x960, and now I find out the demo doesn't even work.

It just stops while playing the intro videos...

Nice job nvidia, crytek and EA... really guys...

See specs in sig. I can choose very high. Does it depen on resolution? I set the resolution to 1600x1200 and was able to put on very high settings. I didin't turn AA yet, though.

Edit: Just saw firehawk's reply. I have Vista, so I guess you have XP.

Run the 32bit version, 64bit seems broken for everyone (except one or two persons which is pretty miraculous if true) with the new beta drivers.

Anyways how can you spend two hours on changing drivers?

Well, I am having some SLI issues so currently I run a single card.

Playing all very high with post processing set to high and shaders set to high, the performance at this level is usually about 25-35fps.

I hope to have some more time with it today so I can tweak it some more

Ugh, I don't know how you guys play sub 40fps. 50-60 is my sweet spot As long as the water & textures are cranked all the way up, I set everything else to medium. The rest can wait until the 9 Series.

64-bit works for me too if I add the -DX9 on the shortcut.
