Jonelo,
from your video, I would consider those frames too annoying to play.

thanks for the tips on blowing up the car and deactivating the jamming thing. I was just shooting at the dish till it fell off lol

The correct path is to create a system.cfg file and place it in the Crysis install directory.

Thats what I don't like about DivX. It always changes the interface to vista normal or whatever it is called.

Well the intro videos alone already made me pissed! A person should not have to put up with intro videos to play a damn game. I think I'll be cancelling my preorder for Crysis. It runs like ass. What the hell have they been doing for all these years? This thing is not ready to ship! It needs another 6 to 8 months of optimizing BEFORE release. I'll wait for some new drivers and the patch for the terrible demo. Who the hell is gonna bother playing it at 2 FPS?

QFT ....

I to am alittle pissed at its performance, ive been playing at 1600x1200 no AA, water quality normal, shadown normal and sound normal ... all other settings high and avarage 25FPS! thats in DX9 ... ive heard Crytek are releaseing a patch for the demo next week .... also nvidia are releasing new drivers next week aslo, lets hope these two increase the games performance!

Imagine if the 9800GTX was out about now like it was speculated earlier in the year. we'd all be going out and buying one and loving playing crysis at 1680x with 4xAA everything on very high.

It still might happen, but it would be the biggest announcement in the history of PC gaming.

ie, 9800GTX, get it at your local e-tailer now. 2x 8800GTX performance.

one can only hope...

but seriously, this whole idea of "optomizing". don't be stupid. it doesn't run at 60FPS for a reason, and that reason is plainly obvious. the graphics hardware is just not powerful enough to run this game at high res, high settings with 4xAA. get over it. no amount of "optomizing" will fix it.

**waits for patch that increases performance 500%**
