i really like the demo. i can't play with all the eye candy but maybe in time. i really like some of these dx10 screenies that are posted. i may put vista back on when the game comes out. right now in dx9 on xp i play 12x10 and 4xaa and most things on high .........soon as i go to 16x12 i have to turn aa off for any decent gameplay. i may have to give some tweaks a go too yet.

i guess i ran into a glitch when switching weapons as it gave me 4 pistols..........lol.....

What do you expect...games meant to look good and it sure does look good to me..

The only complaint i have with crytek is the dam intro movies..which i got rid of..the other one is...why..are the rocks so gay -.-....who eva design those rocks...need to be replaced imo...you get this amazing detail..and then in middle of it...some low ress texture rock

Nvidia kept the 7800GTX fairly didn't they? Maybe the 9800 will be the same way, one can only hope...

This is the only demo I have ever played that changed my mind from a bad opinion to a good one. Awesome game,it seems like we will get our monies worth also. The demo was pretty decent in play time also,Far Cry was a perfect length hopefully this will be more of the same.

Well here's a thought, since all this debacle from EA and not keeping in touch with customers at all. Just sort of releasing crap whenever however, I think this game will still be amazing. If by chance there's a patch soon, this game will run great in DX10.

I just hope the 64bit version will work soon. Cause that should speed up super duper DX10, very high graphics.

There's gotta be something in the mix for this game to run how it is in the video's. Cause if a GTX stock can run the game very high at smooth frames, there's gotta be something out there.

Plus these crap nvid drivers will be updated to something better. (169.01)

I'm running 32bit DX10 with only Post Processing @ medium, everything else very high. Getting very good framerates...at least 20-30 average.

Just finished the demo, wow Crysis is really very stunning game, it ran just fine, very playable with all graphics settings very high at 1024x768 16xAA on DirectX 10.

Even when it dips to 20 fps in massive combat, the game is still playable actually

This game kicks ass and looks amazing! Crytek has got it down perfectly! You would have to be a complete moron to not want the full version release of this sweet ass game! After all, the pc gaming market hasn't been hot but now that's all about to change with games like Crysis, UT3 and Gears of War all for PC.
PC gaming will now be worth playing again!
