I was thinking the same thing, looks like FarCry with low settings.

Now how the hell can we get that into 32bit aswell?
Mate, that is a bug with 32bit, that most of the time it doesn't load those distant textures. But last two times I played 32bit, it did render it exactly the same as the 64bit.

While its true that there is a bug I have to disagree with the way the distant mountains look in 32bit vs 64bit. I took a few comparison screens with the mountain textures properly loaded under 32bit vista and 64bit. The 64 bit does indeed have more detailed distant mountain textures.

This is exactly the same way that it was with far cry.

The pach for Far Cry 64 work in 32bits with hack , is a pure marketing feature . Do you no need 64 bits for employ a bit more of Vram and Ram for the textures in Far Cry . In Vista... well is interesting for use 4 gigas

I think you guys were right regarding the Far Cry pics, they were definently not at max settings now having started the game again. I dunno maybe the game had to restart before changed were made or something. But IMO most scenes are still not as impressive as I remembered them, especially the outdoor ones

So HERE is some real screens of far cry maxed (except for HDR which I can't figure out how to enable unfortunately):
