Default StreamMyGame - Anyone use it?

So I often find myself away from my computer on weekends. My internet connection is pretty beefy (94 Mbps down, 64 Mbps up on average) and I wanted to see if I could stream my games from my pc to my laptop easily.

For $9.99/yr you can stream your games from your main PC to another PC, or Linux, or even a PS3, at 720p. So, has anyone tried this? Does it actually work?

Is there other software out there (i.e. free) that does the same thing?

I remember this. I just signed up for a free account to try it out. Still waiting for my activation email though.

Not working to well for me right now. I got my email and I'm in, dl the server software but I can't get more than a single game detected or added. The only game I can get to show up is MS chess. W7-64 I'll keep messing around. I would pay $19.99 to be able to play anything anywhere in nice resolutions but I can't get the darn thing working.

The main page says a lot of recent games are supported. Maybe it's not fully functional with Windows 7 yet?

Well I got my games added. It does have some issues with Win7 64 and I guess they are working on it. Some people can run in XP SP3 mode and get it working. I'm just waiting for my GF to finish playing her little hidden object game so I can test this out on her laptop. Will report back. I wonder if I could stream to my PSP, mmmm.

Edit: It's a no go on the PSP. I had some luck with laptop. I was able to launch and control the game but no picture or sound. I could see my other computer launch the game and move around. Maybe I'll try a few other games later or wait for them to fix their win7 issues. Good idea but doesn't really seem up to date as a program. I would think after 3 years they would be doing pretty good.

I tried it on my netbook when it first came out. 56g wireless was just a laggy pixelated mess for me and 100mb ethernet was still far from perfect though it was playable. Of course this is a couple years ago on a older software and a lesser spec of a pc.

I don't understand how this can be economically viable?
Imagine you wanted to play crysis, at their end you'd need a very beefy system, one computer per person. If 100's of people wanted to play crysis you'd need 100 beefy computers, that is a lot of kit and power/cooling/space requirements!
