Its not a bug, Far cry was the same way when comparing XP 32bit to XP 64bit.

There are still comparison shots floating around the web of how much better far cry looked under 64bit with the distant mountains.

The shader setting has absolutely nothing to do with the ripple effect on the water. That difference is found between high and very high on the water settings itself.

Enjoy em guys, im not wasting my time around here anymore with you complainers and nay sayers who still want to argue with the evidence that stairs you directly in the face even with a Frame counter to boot! Because your not gonna be satisfied regardless of what I do, it still will not be enough.

I will be enjoying Crysis in either DX10 or DX9 because my machine runs them both beutifully. To those who enjoyed the shots have fun and peace out!
It's just like when occlusion mapping doesn't work on medium shaders even if this feature it turned on. Certain Very High effects will not work without Very High Shaders. I've tried it myself.

Maybe if you didn't come here acting like everyone was lost without you, you would get a better reception.

You are so insecure, I feel bad for you. No not really. I never came here acting that way. I only came here and posted a few pics and offered some advice and help to those who wanted it.

There isn't a user out there at this point that can run the very high shader spec in DX10 at a decent framerate. It's too taxing on the current hardware.
Parallax occlusion mapping takes no more than a 1fps hit and it works with high shaders.

True but that was FarCry. There has been zero mention, PR or announcements stating of any gfx enhancement benefits running 64bit vs 32bit.

I'm betting it's a bug.

Yes there has been mention of it by the devs that 64 bit would get the same type of enhancements that was offered to farcry.

There is currently a bug with 32bit, however it involves the textures not fully loading at times with the distant mountains.

However in my comparison shots they are fully loaded and the difference that you see in 32 to 64 on my screens is the way that it should be.

An ini hack? Why didn't you specify that before? He could probably enable it if he knew what to look for.

You came here acting like you're one of the few elite who can play this at playable frames. It's all right in there in your posts. It's very playable for me on lower resolution, with all the configs. But I won't make a thread about it since it's all already there in the main thread.
