Seems like the scaling goes down once the game becomes fillrate limited (larger draw distance / field of view). By the way, is that with the 169.28 driver?

Thanks for the pics. Only 16x12 isn't exactly push THAT much to start with. I mean you're getting mid 20s easily without SLI. Running any FSAA?

I was more looking for 19x12 with 4xFSAA and max settings. I wanna see if 12fps gets to a playable 25fps.

Yes XP 169.28. Definately a bottleneck somewhere.

Sorry if that small ad offends your sensibilitys, you must have a rough time navigating the web.

You need to understand something. If your gonna post up pics that have porn advertisements attached to it then you need to provide some sort of warning, some of us have families that do not need to see that sort of thing and others are looking at nvnews.net from work.

And how do I have a tough time navigating the web? I brows all day long and not once do I come across a porn add with nude photos on it.

So according to those nicely posted pics, can anyone explain the results and why SLI isn't do more all the time?

i would sure like to know! i'll be flying along @ 40-45 fps, and then ill hit an area with lots of depth and it drops to 20 fps or lower. weird, because its said the snow/ice and alien ship levels are hard on frame rates yet i ran smooth through those for the most part.

g80/g92 are possibly triangle setup limited in this game, so u wont see scaling in high poly areas. fwiw radeons do scale in these areas because they have 50% higher triangle setup rate. this is not confirmed information, just a possible reason that people have discussed.

Just got my second GTS installed tonight. I've tried playing Crysis, tried tweaking every setting I can think to tweak- yet for some reason it seems this second card is not doing a dang thing.

Anybody have any ideas as to what might be up? Heck, I've even got my CPU oc'd as high as I can without sacrificing stability, same with my cards. I've tried running everything stock- no go. No bost what so ever with Crysis.

I am trying the 1.1 patch no, to see if that helps. But any input would be greatly appreciated.
