Just been running Crysis in XP for the first time since the upgrade (GT's). Almost totally playable with the 'Very high' settings tweak. 25-45 FPS, so i'd say SLI is working. Both GPU's are getting hot now and there's a good jump in FPS.

BTW, if ya sprint and jump with fists selected, Nomad does a 'Superman', lol.

The load balance bars show up fine ... it's just the don't go up very far with Crysis.
There is about 1fps difference between a single card and SLi ...
169.04 in XP.
Other games they work fine ... with Jericho for instance the load balance bars are right up and my fps are almost doubled with SLi.

It is just Crysis ... very odd !
My guess is that for some reason Crysis just doesn't like my comp or one of it's components.

Some screens ...
I run TripleHead ... 3840x1024 ... click to see full size ...

But it is the same if I run on a single screen ... ... click to see full size ...

Single card ...

SLi ...

Here is Jericho ... as you can see it is fine ... click to see full size ...

In Crysis, I agree that Nhancer gave me worst performance. I am Running it now after uninstalling Nhancer. Using driver cleaner, and a fresh install of 169.04. I am getting decent frame rate of 25-40 FPS now at 1920X1200 With everything to high and 2 AA enabled.

And Both GPU are now within 3 degrees of each other.. Wierd I know.

Running XP by the way. Did the same in Vista 32 bit and everything maxxed to Very High and only a few FPS lower. Will try and get soem Screenies.

This is reminding me how the performance in the DX10 version of Call of Juarez was. SLI was not working properly at first but a driver release fixed that along with some optimizations from one of the patches that came out. I am fairly confident things will improve for DX10 before the retail game hits the shelves.

Any more information about SLI in crysis, I'm trying real hard to get it working, but I can't get the load balancing bars to show up. I may have got it working but I can't tell from framerates alone, as they are very similar, read... almost the same!

You probably know this already but if you have V-Sync enabled the load bars will not show up.

Thanks Loreman, this is my first sli setup so I'm a complete noob in that respect. I've figure out the problem tho, my crappy ocz powerstream 600w can't handle sli. Started from fresh and installed only the mobo drivers and 169.04 betas, restarted, then constant resets once booted into windows. Only reenable single card mode stops it. New psu will be 1000w so it can handle future loads

Hm, even a 500watt quality PSU should handle SLI. And 2x GT are like 1x Ultra... Strange.

SLI is definitely enabled, cuz the framerates are really good, although in DX10 it is laggy as hell, like when your walking all of the sudden it slows down, but the fps doesn't slow down, it happens literally every second. It's like somebody slows down the whole game for a second, then it's normal again etc etc, Matrix style, DX9 works fine, although the fps still fluctuates way too much with random slowdowns. It's not the mouselag that you get in DX10 when fps is too low, this is the whole world lol.

It crashes with 4Gb Ram though, so I'm playing with 2Gb now. Lets hope the full retail runs like butter and hope we get new drivers next week.
