It should improve a little over the next week or two.
I've installed these. Runs better overall. Almost as fast in DX9 Vista as DX9 in XP, might even be the same. DX10's a bit better too. I don't know if that's caused by better SLI or just a better overall driver. But either way, it's better.

I just meant to point out that it's not just the drivers but also the game patches that will further improve SLI. I know it's a shame that it didn't make it into the retail code but thats the way it is with deadlines and you can't keep pushing the release date back forever unless your game is DNF.

A "release date" patch was announced roughly 2 or 3 weeks ago in the IRC chat with the devs but I don't know if that Incrysis article referred on that one or already on a second patch (in a week or two).

Ah, that's good news. Any performance increase would be nice. I was just playing the demo a few mins ago and one card is about 10*C hot than the other in game. It's normally 1 or 2 in most games (thanks to my mod ). That suggests there is room for improvement.

Just finished installing the retail version of Crysis. Here are some early benchmark results.

Awesome job on the benches - any chance we can see one for DX10 and Vista?

I have a QX6700, 2 8800 GTX's watercooled and 2GB RAm...and a 3007WFP HC..guess I will have to skip this game until next year when I can buy some better cards.

With SLI, the 64-bit version of Crysis resulted in a Bluescreen. The 32-bit version stopped responding shortly after automagically switching from full screen (1920x1200) to windowed mode.

Will try single GPU performance later.
