Default Sony to Drop F1 License?

http://kotaku.com/388371/formula-1-g...itches-license

Seems like F1 wants $75 Million and Sony doesn't think the license is worth that much (I would agree considering that they sell poorly compared to their other games). So if rumors aim to be true then it looks like we will have F1 games for all other platforms in the future... god help us though if EA gets their hands on it.

I did like F1 Championship on the PS3.

last official F1 game to be released on a none Sony platform was in 2000 (2001 season) after that Sony had an exclusive deal with them.

Yeah, but my point was that there were official F1 games on the PC. Just that their all outdated... The last was F1 career challenge by EA i think.

Sony might as well not renew if they're just going to sit on the license.

Besides the people who made the PS3 F1 game would be better off working on Wipeout and Lemmings games.

No it's not lol. Wipeout HD looks great, but they need to work on another FULL RETAIL Wipeout on PS3 as well!
