Meh...Disappointed

The game is not as bad as the demo but still its nothing great as it was hyped

Everything is just average in this game and very monotonous (I am talking about single player)

Also the game textures and most effects remind me some old games made in 2001-2002 (even with DX10 it still looks old)

Overall the game reminds me a MMORPG with single player ability
and i do not especially like MMO games

Diablo 2 still was a better experience for me from this....

Anyway i am going back to The Witcher

Flagship isn't even trying to sooth the masses, their forums are full of people trying to get some sort of answer. This memory leak crash thing is ruining it for me. According to posters its been a problem in beta for awhile.

I just bought it and downloaded from EA store. When I launched it it downloaded a single player patch. Is this one old?

I see that "Patch 0" for the single player game is out now as malachi1313 mentioned above. I just patched mine. I will note if I see any DX10 improvements.

Edited: DX10 performance is noticeably improved with this patch. Framerates jumped up to playable levels now. Didn't notice much else.

I have bought the game this morning. Didn't like the demo a lot but anyway I thought the game would be much better. And it is. I'm enjoying it a lot. I have finished Act 1 playing non-stop from the begining. It's not Diablo, but it's truly adictive. I don't like the big interface, at 1920x1200 the quest log does not need to be full screen (almost), I think it should scale with resolution and be smaller like LOTRO or like original Diablo was. But it's a minor annoyance, the game is good, maybe it has been very overhyped, but it's a good, fun game.

And it works with no problems in 64bit mode and DX10. I didn't have a crash or memory leak, and played non-stop from the beginning to end of Act 1

Malachi, I can see what you're saying, it's very dark and mysterious like DX was. The mood and environment is very close to that.

I just wish Deus Ex 2 IW was like 1, but anyhow, I can only hope for DX3 to be something out of the box, not in the box with the other console games that 2 was.

Awesome game. However, i wouldnt go so far as to say that this game can substitute for diablo 3. I mean, the hacknslash factor in the diablo series is UNPARALLELED by any game thats been released so far. God, i love(d) Diablo... hoping for a revival. Hellgate is a good transition though no doubt
