After playing any melee character in this game, now I can tell everyone, Dungeon Lords is better.

Have spent about 20 minutes in the game. It doesn't seem too bad so far. It's like a WoW/Diablo/Fallout 2 kind of feel.

I like this game. Like Tr1ck said, it's a Diablo-esque feel but it's fun. Online is better than single play for the drops.

I've played several hours into the game and frankly I've now become very bored with it. The thing I absolutely hate the most is that the enemies respawn way too much. I can spend 30 minutes clearing a level only to have every last one of those demons back again once I return to the level.

Anyone know any cheats or some way to stop the respawning? At this point all I want to see are the resolutions to the various quests rather than keep repeating the same slaughterfest on seemingly the same looking levels over and over!

After the .06 SP patch and 0.7 MP patch the game is many times better then it was at launch.

I don't think I have the patience of playing again, maybe when I'm really bored or there's a shortage of games. Finished it with the Evoker and I guess that was the most balanced character. Melee characters can be hard later in the game if you don't have the right skills and equipment.

After about two weeks in public beta testing, the Hellgate: London Single Player Patch 1.2 update is ready to be finally be released. The release candidate published last week has been poked, prodded, and otherwise fully tested and has been retitled sans "beta". Those users who have already applied the release candidate version of this patch need to take no additional action as the update has not changed since.

The reason for the lengthy patch release was due largely in part to an issues players were experiencing where they couldn't make Elite Mode characters. This problem has been fixed and is listed in the compendium that is the Single Player Patch 1.2 notes, available here. The patch can be downloaded from the same link or by loading up Hellgate: London and clicking the Update Available button. Clicking the Details button under Single Player yields the patch notes, clicking Update will apply the patch.

Am I the only one who thinks this is too ******* late? I mean we've had this game out for months and most of us have stopped playing by now. Does it inspire me to reinstall? No. Would it have made it a better game on release? Yes.

That is all.

I will only play this game again when I can run it in DX10 mode.

You can play it right now in DX10 mode, but don't bother right now 1.3 is out and it's worse then any other patch as far as bugs. I'm one more crappy patch from forgetting this ****ty game, soooo much potential only to be ruined by money grubbing FSS.
