How are the graphics in this game? Comparable to Bioshock? Sounds interesting... might pick it up if everyone can vouch for the graphics

The graphics are good but no, not as good as BioShock... the game started development 5 years ago so there are some old textures and such hidden amongst the new stuff... Don't worry though, for the most part the game looks VERY nice, and has a cool and unique art style, but it is not a AAA title as far as graphics.

That said, the design of this game is awesome and probably up there with BioShock. It's been a long time since we had a futuristic dystopia to play around in, I guess since DE:IW, which was a piece of crap game anyway. I love this kind of look for games... great stuff.

Gameplay is great too. It's a straight-up action FPS, no more or less, but I always like that when it's done well, and this is. The time powers are fun to play with as well and make for some unique puzzles.

For fans of FPS TimeShift is definately a buy... Can't wait to play more tonight.

I'm having a blast. This is a great game and never gets boring. The timeshift feature is awesome and the game engine is very well tuned. So now I'd have to give it between an 8 and 8.5. It really is fun and frankly better than Jericho was.

I will pick it up once any company has released a new high-end card. Right now there is no point as you can see in my signature.

The demo was great!

im sure you can run the game with max details at 1280x1024... it runs very good on my rig (60-100 FPS at 1920x1200 16xAF)

In the demo my pc had a hard time keeping the frames up at 1024 x 768

And medium graphics is a no no. I rather wait a couple of months for a full system upgrade so i can enjoy the games at their fullest

I have my gt overclocked to 790/1900/2000 on water and I am running everything maxed out at 1920x1200 with 16xAF, and It stays between 60-80, and under heavy fighting may be 50, but its great. the graphics for me are amazing.

I cant also believe the review its been getting, it got less score on graphics than halo 3 at ign.com, and this game has one of the best texture quality I have seen this year, and hands down beats halo 3 when it comes to graphics, I will post some screenshot taken at 1920x1200, and I wont resize them too much. yes it might not be cysis and not dx10 but it has taken every advantage of dx9, I believe. I woult rate it at the same level as bioshock, personally better because I like the level designs way better.

I think TimeShift is a lot of fun too.

I've been having a good time playing it this weekend. Yep, it won't win any awards for originality, and it is a very linear run-and-blast kind of deal, but importantly, it does what it does really well.

I'm surprised at the low ratings it's been getting too, but it's a tough time for video game releases with Crysis seemingly indelibly etched in everyone's brain (and I get the feeling that might truly live up to the hype for a change).

Great game for sure. Best graphic of any game besides Crysis with very satisfying action.
