I was able to get 1 this morning at my local walmart. Got there at 7:15am they were handing out coupons for the HDdvd players as well as the 3 other super special items. I was number 8 out of 14. So there were 14 players in total.

They actually started checking us out at 8am and I was out of there by 8:15. All in all it was a pleasant experience for me at least. this deal was too good to pass up.

There were a few people that showed up at 8am as per the website lol. They were pretty pissed when they found out all the coupons were given out for everything already.

So ya, 100 bucks cant go wrong imo.

I happened to pick up three this morning for presents, no hassle at all, three separate receipts for the 5 free Hd-DVD promotion. One heck of a X-mas gift in my book, even if they don't use HD-DVD, upscaling standard DVD's for the new TV's is worth it in my opinion for $98.

Totally forgot about this, I highly doubt they have any left by now.

Yuck. Walmart? Maybe if they had a small circus tent outside of Walmart I would buy one. Not even a killer deal like this is worth me stepping foot in that nasty place.

I'm happy to hear that some of you were able to get the A2 at that awesome price. I unfortunately don't have any Walmart stores around me (NY).

I should have asked you guys to get me one and I would have thrown in a little extra for your troubles.

I bought 8 from Crutchfield at $109.99. Christmas presents. Crutchfield just blew all of theirs out for $129.00, I had a $20 promo code for each one.
Hell of a gift... HD DVD player and 5 movies.

BTW Circuit City has the HD-A2 for $129. I might pick it up since there are several Circuit City stores around me.
