Default Crytek gonna release new demo version?

Hi,

I read somewhere Crytek is gonna release a new demo (with latest engine) cause too much persons complained about the low FPS they got

The demo we all played uses the same engine version as the Beta, that's why the demo is called pre-release demo.....

So anybody more info about this?

thx

why would they release a new demo when the game comes out in like 2 weeks? they cant magically make our hardware more powerful. they have been optimizing the game with nvidia for a while now, and besides better sli scaling, what u see is what u get. demo build is very very close to final code.

This sound as much like BS as when people were reporting that the friday's demo version wasn't true DX10, but that would only be available on Nvidia's website the next day

I haven't heard anything of that sort until I read it now. With the release being so close now I wouldn't bet on it either unless the final build's performance is so much better that Crytek would think it would be bad advertising not to release a new demo. But quite frankly I don't think they will be another one
