Default Aero Interface and Crysis

I've been having an issue with Crysis starting up in window mode in Vista and noticed this because of that. I'm using the latest 169.04 32-bit. I noticed that Aero is not disabled when Crysis launches. I get an extra 1-2fps changing to standard appearance and get much less of that lag feeling. Is anyone ells seeing this? Better performance increase than the driver update.

Thought I would keep the ladies in there.
Aero On 28fps

Aero Off 31fps

I don't play my games windowed so I have no idea. Fullscreen it seems to disable itself just fine though, for me atleast.

Where can you check the status of Aero and manually enable/disable it?

Those are Britain's hottest models aren't they?

Turn off aero in app compatibility on Crysis shortcut, I think disable visual themes should do it.
