Redhat 9 and asus a7n266-vm install error
When I try to run make I get an
nvnet.c:86: storage size 'nvnet_driver' isn't known make: ***[nvnet.0] error 1 I get this when i run make from the nforce directory or the nvnet directory. Thanks John |

You need to install your distro's kernel-source package, most likely. Massive amounts of errors (like you got) are, most of the time, solved by doing that (at least, with the video or nForce drivers, because those are kernel modules).
With RedHat 8 and below (I don't know if this is still the case with 9), you will also have to configure your kernel source tree. Copy a relevant config file from /usr/src/linux-<version>/configs to /usr/src/linux-<version>/.config, and then go into /usr/src/linux-<version> and edit the Makefile. Make sure that "custom" is not contained in the "EXTRAVERSION = " line, and then save and exit. Then, from the same directory, do a make clean oldconfig dep, and retry the nForce drivers.

Hey John;
I have 2 questions for you: #1 Are you using the onboard vid on the nforce? #2 did the RH9 graphical installer work with the onboard vid? Thanks _CMK |

Yes I am using the onboard video and the RH9 graphic installer worked fine.
