Man - I can't wait till two years from now and we look back at all these titles that have came out in the past year using this god awful blur post processing effect and laugh. This is ten times worse than the overused lens flare effects of the mid nineties television shows. Just because a developer can do the effect, doesn't mean they should! It looks horrible IMHO. The only time I have seen the real world look like this is when I pass out with my contacts in and wake to find everything in a haze. This is not an effect I want to see in my games!

Harcop tried to put 2 , in his review, and no work. I cannot launch the game in DX9, for probing the tricks to activate the AA in the Unreal 3 engine. Some volunteer ? is important . In DX9 the performance of the game is much better, and with AA also it has to be better. I do not see big differences in the engine between Gears and MOHA, probably Gears does not use a full deferred rendering and maybe also work the AA .

Thanks, I would love to try it, but my copy has not shipped yet. If it ships tomorrow from UK I will get it on monday. The method for AA in Unreal Tournament III demo does not work with GoW?

What about renaming the executable to "Bioshock.exe" and forcing AA through the control panel in XP. Does this work?

Don't know looks pretty normal to me - the game runs smooth, and plays nice... I don't got that damn Intense crap on that you enable in options, forgot the name, but I left it at default, rather then setting it to vivid or intense.... I was just demonstrating the FPS, as a lot of reviews said the performance in DX10 was worse, and so far I've not really seen that, then again I haven't played without it. The new missions are SWEET....

and yes I am running 169.04 I do not know why your AA didn't work from the get go, but it does here...

The post process is diferent . And the FOV . But the textures in the helicopter clearly are in medium or low in the version of the 360, and the caracters textures, also
umm thats a cinematic screenshot not really going to do much there, cinematic's do use the engine, and aren't rendered but still they are altered in a way the FPS maxes out, and they tend to look better as its focused a lot more then the actual gameplay, so you can't compare real well... Though the 360 version does look bland, but the PC is missing smoke.. weird.
