TV Out functionality

Is there going to be any kind of TV-Out tweaking in the near future (no matter how rudimentary)? Using overlay I am unable to make it fit snug on the screen, at all. Perhaps allow Modelines to be modified again

I would LOVE this. I have a 50Hz HD CRT with component inputs only and there are posts ignored by nvidia going back to 2004 where people have asked about 50Hz TV-out so I'm guessing it will never be supported. Its pretty poor considering its advertised in Australia (where TVs and digital broadcasting are 50Hz) as having HD component output .. but I suppose I can use this misleading advertising fact to get my money back and buy an ATI board when their open source drivers are up to it

TV-Out modelines have never been modifiable. This is a hardware restriction based on TV standards.

Correct me if I'm wrong but can't this be done in windows driver? I know it can be done with powerstrip.
