For the record, this game runs flawlessly for me in Vista, haven't had a single crash, runs smooth and load times are very fast. I am satisfied with Vista's performance for once

Adam, wow, thats quite a collection!!

I have the new Creative X-Fi drivers installed for Vista x64 and even that didn't fix GOW from crashing back to my desktop. Man I want to play this game so damn bad!

I agree, 99.9% of the time vista problems are related to user error anyway.
I have vista 64 myself and have nothing but praise for it. Not a single problem here.

I have three issues, two that are vista specific, one that is common to XP and Vista, according to my MS contact should be fixed in SP3 and SP1.

thats far less issues that where out when XP was first released.

Just ignore conroejoe. He thinks the whole PC world should stand still and we should all stay with XP for another 10yrs

I really seriously doubt he has ever even booted up Vista. Most of the people who bash vista are the same people that have never even tried it. LOL.

Had to wipe my other HD of Vista x64 to load Vista x86 and troubleshoot an issue with Hamachi and my COD4 server for a buddy of mine. Luckily we got it fixed. As I've told you many times I have used Vista back to the betas. The people who bitch about Vista ARE the ones that have used it.

Whatever bro, you sure as hell will not see me bitching about it as I have ZERO problems with it. I will never go back to XP.

I'm using Vista (Home Premium 64 bit) for about 2 months now and never a had problem or crash with it. I do use it only around 30% vs. 70% of XP usage and I know I skipped a lot of problems by purchasing it so late but based on my personal experience it is a good O.S. I do think it is a shame that DX10 isn't as efficient as it was promised to be.
