Give it time and it will be. I still remember the change from DX8 to DX9 and it mirrors it in every way.

The change from DX8 to DX9 was not that immediate either but after DX9 had been rolling along for a year or more there was no looking back.

Vista 32 Ultimate early adopter here. I had a few problems with devices not having drivers very early on (mainly printers) but no real problems to speak of since.

I have a dual boot set-up and I haen't booted XP in months. Hmmm, now that I think about it it is probably a good time to reclaim that HD space for some of the new games coming out.

then download and install the latest version of live

I'm almost positive this is a software driver issue. I'm sure there will be a patch for this problem sooner or later but it just sucks to wait on one when you've already purchased the damn game.

I had this same issue. Using suggestions from the official forums I finally got it to work. Try running the startup executable in admin mode and see if that helps.

YES!!!! I got the game to run finally! I had to reinstall Windows XP Pro x64 and it ran super smooth. It hates Windows Vista X64. I'll reinstall Vista x64 once a new non-beta service pack 1 comes out. Question, There doesn't look like
we can play online free. MS wants us to go gold on MS LIVE so what's the deal? Is there away to play multi-player free?
