Question Video Overlay and/or Video Texture

Do any of the newer NVIDIA cards support the "Hardware Overlay" capability - specifically through Xv?

If not, is there some way to use the "Video Texture" capability to use XDraw commands to annotate video data after it has been converted from YUV, but before it is shown to the user? That is what we are currently using the video overlays for.

When I try to draw (using XvShmPutImage) to an offscreen pixmap using the "Video Texture" ports, it says there are insufficient resources.

BTW: I am using Fedora 7, and trying both the "nv" and "nvidia" drivers.

Thanks in advance.
