I have an application using two NVS440 cards and 8 montors. Using 2.4 and PCI this software package was able to update all screens at their scan rate with problem.
Currently I have changed the system to an AMD-64 bit FC7 x86_64 (needed to get all 8 screens operational) with the new PCIe cards. While this does allow me to open all 8 screens I am now having a problem with screen updates. I have declare -x __GL_SYNC_TO_VBLANK="1" in export to slow the cards down so I have time go get external IO but that no longer seems to work. When I first start the program everything runs at full speed for a few seconds then starts to bog down. MOVING the mouse appears to make the system more responsive. Am I missing something obvious here? I have uploaded the Nvidia bug report. |

Does this problem persist if you disable the Composite extension in xorg.conf ?

Please disregard this problem
I did not have an extension section so I added Section "Extensions" Option "Composite" "Disable" EndSection This did not make a difference. I then ran a few more test and I appear to have a hardware interrupt issue with an unrelated card. I will post again if the display still appears slow after correcting the interrupt issue. |
