Sounds Good! I was already thinking of picking this up, but to be honest Tyger, your reasoning for the whole "Galaxies" idea not being good made sense to me so I was on the fence...I'll be picking this up this week...By the way, yesterday (before I read this thread), I saw a preorder thing at my local Target, and they weren't selling it yet...Other wise it might have become an impulse buy...

While WWII shooters are great, if you've played one, you've played them all.

Thanks for the review Tyger - and as always, objective and unbiased as hell.

I'm one that was on the fence over this whole Mario "galaxy" idea, but it seems pretty solid. I'll be picking this one up as soon as I can free up time. I've been pretty much stuck on The Witcher.

I currently have 33 stars and would have to say Mario Galaxy is one of the best games ive ever played, It easily has the best music & graphics in a mario game and is just a blast to play.

Really loving it atm! Damn there are some hard special oldschool galaxies I'm not that far in the game yet, I've only collected about 12 Stars (if that) and so far I'm blown away by the gameplay.

I understand the game is good fun but I totally question why they use Mario/cartoon stuff all the time? It's great to appeal to the younger audience but they aren't earning my money in the least.

Glad the rest of you are enjoying it though.

It's pretty good. I love all the retro music and graphics from SMB3 that they have included. If I have any complaints, its that the camera is zoomed back too far every once in a while. Also, having a second player to help you is very useful, but their cursor tends to get in the way quite a bit.

Other than those two little things, these seems like one hell of a game!
