I recently upgraded from a 7300gt to a 8600gt and my monitor to a samsung 960bf. Now, the samsung is pretty braindead, (_NO_ controls, everything is setup via ddc) but using my old 7300gt over vga i managed to set the brightness and contrast to reasonable levels. With the new 8600gt this is no longer possible. Currently im using DVI (does that matter btw?) with no success.
Am i right to assume the lack of support is a driver issue? If so, when can we expect 8600gt ddc support? |
