Post Crysis benchmark results - Comparison thread

This is a mini performance review of Crysis to compare a stock modern day PC to a faster over clocked machine. The standard resolution for these tests is 1920x1200 and I will be using 2 settings, high and medium.

Test System
Intel Q6600 @3GHz
EVGA 8800GT KO
"675/1688/1950"
4GB DDR2-6400
Intel P965 Chipset

All settings set to "high" Overclocked results

All settings set to "high" Stock VS Overclocked results

All settings set to "medium" Overclocked results

All settings set to "medium" Stock VS Overclocked results

Please keep this threads discussion's to Crysis benchmark results only!

*and don't forget to post yours!

Seems like I won't be getting the 8800GT. I have a 24" monitor so I want to play Crysis at 1920x1200 with very high settings (at more than 20-30fps).

* Saving money for the 9800GTX. *

Very helpful charts, great FPS at medium settings. I bet the right balance of medium/high would be able to reach similar performance. For example I'm sure you could raise textures to high without too much of a hit.

I'd like to see some maxed settings Crysis benchmarks on that PC at something like 1280x960.

I won't be even considering building a new PC until I can get that res at max in Crysis with a min fps of like 25fps (and optimally like 50fps average).

same here would love to see a res with one of these cards at very high settings with shaders set to high.
