Gears of War which I loved on 360 runs so stuttery on my machine its not worth loading up.

Unreal Tournament 3 imo is a bust. I'm getting bored of the gameplay and the visuals arent much to write home about.

Area 51 is a stuttering mess, runs like a dog and is pretty cliched.

Call of Duty 4 is scripted which is annoying, but aside from that, I just didn't care for it. Terrorism is as old and boring to me as ww2.

Even if games havent exposed it as much, the subject matter is everywhere so it feels very familiar.

I'm suprisingly enjoying the summer hits more than the fall ones.

Stranglehold, Bioshock, Lost Planet. All those are great fun o me.
Try Timeshift...i bet you will have a lot of fun playing that game. Time control is awesome, slow, freeze, and go back in time.

Timeshift is much better game for me, just finished it. The game is perfectly executed. Displacement and parallex mapping are done great and use of shaders.
thank you, my day was a bit boring so far. This joke really helped out.

Updated feedback, I played for an extra 2 hours after posting my initial feedback. Got a bit further, and though the game doesn't wet my pants, I'm liking the freedom I have. I'm more of a stealthy player (or coward, whatever) that likes to kill, hide, kill hide, sneak around, and cause chaos, and right now, I really like that freedom.

As for performance, it's mute when talking about the GAMEPLAY, but I will say that so far, with my rig, it's respectable. I finally managed to get a happy medium running it in 1600x1200 with no AF, and almost everything on High, with water being Very High. I can't say the exact FPS, but it ain't 60, but it's not less than 25 either. So it's a very pretty game that's playable with current technology.

Even better, I think with patches and driver updates, the performance i will only increase, so I'm looking forward to that.

So in summary, after getting past more levels, my fondness for the game is growing. I assumed it would be like Bioshock to me, and many other game.s I'm just hard to please, and Crysis is growing on me. Don't care much for storyline, but the freedom is amazing so far.

Too bad they didn't add Korean hookers, but can't have everything right? :P

I love hitting the sprint key while driving and turbo boosting the vehicle and then jumping out at the last second and letting it ram into whatever is in my path and blowing up. I love the SP of this game. I can't wait to see what things will be added graphically as the hardware catches up

Thank god I never played far cry, so I can't try to compare. It was an amazing experience throughout. I had to play at 1280x800 non-native throughout half the game but that's the price of progress. Going to really need a card that is 2x8800ultra.

There was one part where my jaw just dropped at the photorealism. It was when you get on the jeep's turret while prophet starts driving. I didn't even bother shooting. I was just looking at the scenery.

The gripe I have currently with Crysis is the insane, hawkeye ability of the guys on the boat. I mean, I'm in the woods, crouched on the ground with foliages all around me, and they still are able to spot me and hit me dead on. It's annoying really. The AI is still very good, but this blemesh kinda ruins the immersion when I'm really into the whole atmosphere and made me realize this is just a game, heh.

Strange, it was fine in the demo and you could tell when they started to see you by the indicators on the minimap at the lower left corner. It was first green, then slowly turned to yellow and eventually to red and they would open fire. Can't you hide behind a rock, cloak, and move to a different location? This way I was able to get rid of the boats because it still focused mainly on the rock where you were orginally hiding.

I could ditch the boat by hiding behind a rock or what have you, then stealthing out of it. But the point is, when I'm inland, in a wooded area with a view of the ocean, the guys on the boat are still able to see me from that far away, even tho the foliages, grasses, trees, ect. were supposed to hide me, or at least make it harder to detect.
