ok i understand i was jut being nice and polite but i see his posts are way out of line so hopefully he gets a grip of reality and stop comparing 2004´s Far Cry with Crysis that is in a whole different leauge

@Elvin how is COD 4 Timeshift running on your PC compared to Far CRy?

i can´t Run Crysis with all maxed and AA and AF on but i can tweak abit lower some features that still makes the game lok stunning and get a 30-40+ FPS

and my RIg isn´t that so called top of the Line but it is enough to run and ENjoy every game on the market.

you perhaps should lower your settings to medium no AA no Af?

Actually i didn't even start playing. I have installed, and probably i won't ever play. I was playing pieces of it on my uncles machine. It's freaking boring game...

How would you know, unless you've looked at and debugged the code yourself?

i am warning for missing . or missplaced . and ,

well i know a swedish game build airplanes with mulle meck, and it was unplayable on a P2 300 and a P4 2.1. And may i i add it´s a childrens game
so a guy who is some kind of professor in computing or so, took it a part and saw the flaw B.A.D programming that was why it wouldn´t run on a computer more powerful than it required.


so sure many games are probably bad coded/programmed now i am no programmer nor a professor in coupitng/computers.

but yes i think if Crytek had concentrated on a flawless code then done modeling and stuff perhaps Far Cry and Crysis would run better. That said i don´t claim to know this for a fact.

But as they said this game was to be playable with elder machines and now it shows it isn´t so at all so question is where did they change so much and is this to impress and sell expensive hardware because the grpahics in Far Cry and Crysis at it´s time are impressive. But is that Cryteks goal to impress in graphincs and make a game so heavy it can´t be run on todays hardware( you know what i mean)



anyway the code/programming in many games is what makes them a FLOP now Crysis isn´t one of those but still it is a bit too heavy and can´t be run on older machine as it was said to be or am i so wrong.
