qemu-kvm + context switch = segfault

I am running Fedora 7 on an HP a6130n using the nvidia 100.14.19 driver. This problem has occurred on several kernels and different versions of qemu-kvm. If I start a qemu-kvm session from a terminal window, switch to another workspace, then switch to a text console, the x server segfaults. I emailed support at nvidia a month ago, and received no response. I do have a core dump, but it's 34+MB, so attaching it won't work.
I am attaching an nvidia bug report log.

Any help would be appreciated.
