it actually plays like a pre pre alpha. nothing in the game works, u cant even reliably fire your gun and expect the shot to come out more than 1 in 10 times.

lol.. I do have high standards ... but beside that... comapired to what the game was SUPPOSED to be... its a huge let down. No AA and low res textures = crap. I might pick the game up if it goes on sale, but I don't see myself shelling out for this one unless I get really bored of what I already own

*EDITED: No talk of piracy please.*

decide if the game is fun enough to overcome the fact that the game flat out doesnt work most of the time.

actually you must be one of the few that have such big problems with it... it works flawlessly over here as it does for many others... gears of war is another story however

AI is buggy and gets stuck with the transporter disk thing.

Graphics look OK, but the art direction is really lacking. Dark corridor, metal, dark corridor, metal. The water is nice, but the game just has a very Gothic feel to it now. For as fantastic as the first two Unreal engines were, this one just doesn't seem to be as sharp or clean, AA issue aside. ::shrugs::

Game play just seems like more of the same. I was really, really looking forward to this game and I'm not very impressed. There's not too much that is glaring bad with it, but nothing that stands out and says "wow, this reminds me of the series' glory days".

as many complaints I could levy against the game like you guys, I'm still having a ball in it and for UT thats all that matters. Epic still has the magic when it comes to map flow and weapon balance(except for a few naggling issues like the flak secondary fire trajectory). sure the game could have prettier textures, but the game looks fantastic and runs great the way it is so who the hell cares(well, except m3dude)?

AA works if you force the Oblivion AA Compatibility Bit using Nhancer to modify the game profile. Although because of the rendering engine, there are edges where there either seems to be no AA or less AA. Near brighter lines.

based on the fact that ut3 player base is nearly nonexistent, id say many people care. theres a lot more wrong with this game than the graphics.

Same with MOH: Airborne as well.

Yeah I see a repeat of Quake 4 here.
