Hi guys, i know this is a noob question but i have searched the forums for the last hour or so and cant find anything related to installing Fedora 8 with different drivers.
I'm trying to install fedora 8 on a system with; Mobo: GA-M55SLI-S4 Gcard: 7300GT 4 x Sata Disk When ever i put the DVD into boot off i can only get to the start of the welcome screen IE i see the mouse pointer but nothing else and it just sits there, hasnt hung, just sits there polling the CD drive. At first i thought it was drivers but i did manage to get in one time and configure it all the way to copying the software to the disk. Once it started copying it came back with an error "cannot copy file to destination". Im not sure if it's a driver issue as i can configure disk partitions and setup software raid partitions on the disk, but i thought it probably worth a try. Is there a way to load mass storage drivers into fedora's setup much like pressing F6 in a windows installation. |
