twinview, 169.04, X11, fan nonstop on 100%
Hello,
updating to the new driver 169.04 in combination with twiniew turns on the fan on a 7950gt card immediately. (Deactivating one of the two tft-panels with nvidia-settings results in a silent working environment) Same xorg.conf with driver 100.14.23 and the fan turns only on by using the 3d function and not while normal 2d working under x11. Did i miss something ? Is there any switch to get back the silence during normal 2d working ? Thanks for any hint... Seb Last edited by naitsabesn; 11-23-07 at 01:40 AM.
