Default Pcouffin device driver??? need help.

I have been running vista x64 with no problems with all drivers installed then suddenly today when i switch my computer on i get this device driver message?


Anyone know what this is and how i can remove it?

Just did a quick search for pcouffin.sys, and it looks like it is part of DVD Xcopy or some other DVD software. I would search the Windows directory for pcouffin.sys and see if the file is in there. When you're prompted with that error again, you should be able to point to that location for the driver.

Newest DVDFabPlatinum release installs this driver and it's digitally signed for both 32/64 Vista. It works great here.

DVD fab has always used the pcouffin driver. Still does.

the only dvd software i installed was nero 7 then uninstalled and updated to nero 8; this was 2 weeks ago, so i dont think it could be nero 8 since its been installed two weeks ago and today i get this message.

I did installed magic dvd copier 4.7 two days ago but its uninstalled now. What could it be? some traces of magic dvd copier still let on the os?

The last thing i installed before i got this message was Unreal Tournament 3.

ok i reinstalled magic dvd copier 4.7 and the device driver message is gone now.
